I'm now 24... kind of a biggie..
Well in between last year and now, it really has been an emotional and eventful ride with so many changes and phases with many life lessons learned. I have experienced some of the lowest lows in my life while getting over so much hurdles to finally get back on my highest. The past year had forced me to actually do some heavy soul-searching and it is still ongoing. And I wouldn't have go through this with the help of my friends, old and new and good and ex. Its funny that some parts of the past year actually mimics the entire movie of 500 Days of Summer. And now I'm at that point where possibly everything will change for me.
Anyway there is not much to be said except I did have the MOST interesting birthday I had in my life... so far. Its a very funny thing and I'll probably remember this birthday more than most birthdays I had. I will hope that this coming year will be more memorable as the last one and I would like to thanks to all my friends and family who have support and encourage me throughout my life.

I'm now 23... no biggie..
Wow, a year went by pretty fast. And well between the time I turned 22 and now, it was one hell of a ride.
It was very eventful and truly memorable. Something that I won't truly never ever forget. Here are the list of big events that happened since September 3, 2008.
- Witnessed Barrack Obama becoming the first-ever black president.
- Traveled all across Europe with my family, visiting Greece, Southern France, Spain, Portugal and London.
- Spent the best days of my life with the most beautiful woman in the world, my girlfriend Carol Manila.
- Witnessed the greatest robbery in history, that is The Dark Knight being robbed of an Oscar nomination for best picture. Thus losing all faith in the Academy.
- Experienced one of the most awful travesty known to MANkind, that is Twilight.
- Actually made a short film, with a professional crew and cast.
- Realized the death of one of my most favorite icons ever, Michael Jackson, which I thought would never happened for another 10 years.
- Will soon graduate with a Master degree in Film/TV.
The first eventful moment I will have as a 23 year old is a day with me, my brother and my best friend, Richard going out and watch the new Pixar movie, UP, which is significant in the theme of growing up. The movie does deal with life and age and it will mean a lot to me as I'm becoming more of an adult.
I will hope that this coming year will be more memorable as the last one and I would like to thanks to all my friends and family who have support and encourage me throughout my life.

Principle Shooting Over, Time For Editing
It has been a hectic 5 days of shooting, but its finally over! What came from those days of shooting were probably one of the most fun and most hardest days I ever have to come to face. Do I hate the fact that filmmaking is hard? No. I actually love that the field of filmmaking is so freakin hard and it is the test of my psychological and personal qualities. If there is one aspect of the field of filmmaking that I'm proud seeing, it is the problem-solving aspect. If Mathematics have number and equation problems, filmmaking has problems dealing with locations, crew and cast, weather and etc. And as a director, you'll have to step up to the light and lead your crew into the next phase of action. That is my challenge. That is my puzzle. And that is what filmmaking is about.
During my production, I do admit my entire cast and crew didn't come out of there feeling 100% friendly to each other. Some can be avoidable or maybe it isn't. It has so much pressure and yes it is freakin hard. But the one thing that made me realize that I love to make films is that I ended up loving the entire filmmamking process even more. I mean who doesn't want to tell their own story and share it with everyone. Who doesn't want to create a piece of art? We aspire to aspire people through doing something unique and talented. And I found that I still love filmmaking after 5 God-forsaken highly pressured emotional ridden very intense and stressed out days.
Now with that over, its now time for editing, which is my favorite part of filmmaking. Because once you finished creating your own puzzle pieces, its time to piece them together yourself.

Wedding Gift
Its been a long time since I did an animation for the Internet, mainly because this year it was all about film making. Luckily I was able to make one very special piece by the end of the year.

This animation is very very special as it is a gift for my friend's Ben and Junie as they are getting married today. Ben asked me if I can do an animation to be played at his wedding and I very gladly accepted. I was very excited to do this piece as I always wanted to do a visual storytelling, which I have been studying and research the past semester. Heck I even did a 7000 word report on it! The recent inspiration for this animation was obviously Wall-E. So this work was the element that brings full circle.

I want to say that I'm so happy for them and I wish their marriage to be of most faithful and happiest. And I'm so honored for my animation to be part of their wedding as much I'm part of their lives. So it gives me great privilege to show you my wedding animation.
I hope you enjoy this animation as much as I enjoyed making this.

The EGames Expo (Kinda like E3, but a lot smaller)
Well after such excruciating, yet interesting time writing my 7000 word exegesis at the end of my semester, it was appropriate for me to now have fun. And what better way to satisfy my inner geek than to attend the E-Games Expo and play so many new video games non-stop.
People may be wondering what is E-Games. Australia doesn't get a lot of good stuff like America. I mean what do we get? Meat pies, footy and VBs? Those are shit! America has Hollywood, basketball, Disneyworld and E3! When you go to E3, you're there to get a taste for brand-new upcoming games from all three video games consoles. E3 is so freakin huge. You can say that E-Games is the Australian equivalent of E3, except its 3 times smaller, not a lot of new games and not so much fancy. But hey, its cheap!
Plus I had a chance to try out new games I've been wanting to try for a long time. And the main idea of attending the E-Games Expo is not to be a video game critic, but to have fun and de-stressed from my last semester of my Masters. So I'm gonna give my first impressions on the new and upcoming games I played at E-Games.
Little Big Planet
I LOVE this game! Its exactly what gaming is about. Near-limitless creativity, unique design, very fun humor and a very expansive world. You can possibly do and make anything in this game. It may look like a simple platformer game, but the wonderful character customization, engaging gameplay and universal multiplayer design makes this game a must-buy!

Resistance 2
I don't mind shooter games and this is one of the good shooter franchise around. The story is better and the bosses are big and huge, but its the same as Resistance 1.
Gears of War 2
Same goes for this. Just the same as Gears of War 1, the story progress further and brand new levels.
Prince of Persia
I'm so glad with the changes in the new series of Prince of Persia. I like the new acrobatic system, the more dream-like design and the epic story. One thing I find cheap is that you can't actually die and reset the level. Whenever you accidentally fall off the ledge or about to be stabbed by the enemy, Elika will be there to save you and the game will still continue, removing the whole competitive flow out of it.

Resident Evil 5 (BETA)
I played the demo and there are some quirks that needed to be fixed. For example, the enemy A.I is not too good as at times, the infected seem to be just doing nothing whenever you're close to them, making them not to intimidated. Other than that, the game looks pretty awesome.
Mirror's Edge (BETA)
Very dizzying and confusing at first, but once you get a hang of the controls and viewpoint, its a very different gaming experience.
Call of Duty: World at War
Disappointing as the last Call of Duty was the one of the best shooters I ever played and this game took a step backward literally. Not that its a bad game. Its still good, but not as great as Call of Duty 4.
Wii Music
...Gay!

There are plenty of other games I played over that either old or slightly new. That said, it was a two-day event for me and I really enjoyed it. Especially having an awesome time playing Little Big Planet!
The highlight of the expo...... Winning an awesome Little Big Planet T-Shirt! I never knew I could get an awesome T-Shirt with Sackboy on it! I was so completely awestruck by what happened!

Geez.. people were jealous of me :P

I Became The Joker
Last Saturday night, it was a friend's costume party to celebrate her 21st birthday and what was the first character that popped into my head when I think of "costumes"? Why, the f*ckin Joker!

It took 2 weeks of preparing the costumes, even though I didn't get the color scheme of the costume such as the purple jacket, the green vest and even the green wig. But hey, at least I was able to possess the spirit of the Joker. And to my surprise, I was the only Joker in the party! So that was f*ckin awesome!!
Want to see more photos of me as the Joker, go to my Facebook page ---> CLICK HERE
Before I terrorize the party, I always been want to do the something like this for a long time ever since I saw the awesome Dark Knight.
This is a play on the video threat scene where the Joker slowly tortures the fake Batman to death. Only I'm in character and my brother Johnny is not...

I'm now 22... no biggie..
Yeah, today is my birthday as I turned 22. The age 21 was kind of a big number and it was meant to be celebrated with a huge party with 50 to 100 of friends and family, but now at 22, there is not much need to have a party. While I like to have fun, I'm not really a party person. There is really the need to go out clubbing at night when I was young, but now as I get older, you'll realize that partying isn't needed to make your life exciting. I still got my health, I'm doing what I love doing, I still hang out with my friends, I have a lovely girlfriend, I'm studying for my Masters and I watch so many different movies I rent from the video stores and from the school library.
That is however the good part of my life. The more worry part is that soon I have to move out and find a very stable job soon. Responsibility gets higher and, I'm sorry folks, but thats life. I'm too having trouble coming to this realization. Even if you young kids saying to yourself "you'll fore come these realization of responsibility", wait till you get a little older and know how hard it is to know what you have to do as an adult. I know I'm sounding like doom and gloom, but I have to come the fact that, that is life.
All I can say is just enjoy life. Grasp every opportunity and achieve every goal you can. You ain't staying young for a long time, so might as well do something meaningful. I might giving a lecture to anyone who is reading about life but its the least I can do to give a bit of advice. Thanks to all my friends and family who have support and encourage me throughout my life and I'm happy to be doing what I love doing.

Another blog site...
I'll try my luck with this blog site
Well hey, maybe I'm not cut out to be a blogger. I go on the Internet to look at videos and games, not to post up blogs about my daily life. I have my studies at Masters at RMIT, I'm doing animations and short films in my spare time and I mostly chat to people on the net. I haven't got time to blog. And I just forgotten the password to my CuteNews account for my official website, so now I have to bring down the news application for my website and will be replaced with this. Will I have the tolerance and time to keep updating my blog for anyone who cares to read.
I'll give this a shot. In my blog, I'll be talking about my days, stuffs that inspires me, movies and TV shows I have checked out and issues that are happening around the world. What I trust on this blog site is of the reputation that it brings out the creativity and influences from many bloggers.
I hope you look forward to many of my entries on my blog.
