Sunshine Cleaning
A woman who wants to send her eight year-old son to a private school decides to go into business with her unreliable sister in order to earn more money. They form a company doing biohazard removal and crime scene clean up.
A pretty clear, yet endearing story of womanhood, motherhood and the strive to be make something happen. Always cuteness Amy Adams and Emily Blunt does a great double team of comedy and bickering while establishing two different personalities caught in a relatable situation. Arkin does what he does best: being a smart and stubborn grandpa and it shouldn't change either way. The rest of the supporting cast did well especially Spevack, being the key character of the whole conundrum. It is a nice portrayal of a low class family, kinda like Little Miss Sunshine, except less depressing and less heartwarming.
3 and a half out of 5 stars
