Scientist Herbert West has discovered a fluid which brings living tissue back to life. After the death of his professor, West moves to a new university to continue his research. For Halloween, I decided to check out a cult horror classic that was made famous with a scene involving a head. Its an 80s version of Frankenstein with a decent campness and a decent amount of healthy blood and gore. The story is pretty simple and should be considering it was run in the short time of an hour and 20 mins. Of course the star of the film is Jeffrey Combs as the mad and dickish Herbert West. There are many great gore and funny moments that will satisfy both the hard and casual horror fan, making this great Halloween movie.3 out of 5 stars
