There Will Be Blood
Unlike No Country For Old Men, this film actually has an ending. Its very much a hard and haunting look at one man running the oil business from the early 1900s, running along the themes of greed, family and power. Daniel Day Lewis acted his ass off in this film, as he easily made us invested our time on this character and his trials through his life as an oil man. The dialogue and writing are delicious as ever and the cinematography are great too.
