Mini Reviews - Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express

A stoner action comedy.. something I haven't seen and would like to see. Glad I did. Hey you can't go wrong with the Apatow gang. Seth Rogen is still cool and high while James Franco really shows he can be damn funny. Plus a special treat from Danny McBride. The film is slow at first, but its at the middle where everything great hits off. Go and see this film.

Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Completely stupid and fun to watch, yet it is kind of unique and different from any other teen road trip movies.

Mini Reviews - Gran Torino

Gran Torino

Gran Torino

Even if he's as old as hell, Clint Eastwood is still the f*ckin man and you kids better f*ckin respect him. Not an entirely brilliant story, but still a very enjoyable, interesting and asskicking film to watch. Hell watching Clint swear alot, drink alot, kick ass alot and be the f*ckin man is already an awesome show.

Don't ever f*ck with this old bast*rd!

Mini Reviews - Twilight

Twilight

Twilight

Edward Cullen is a 15-year-old girl's perspective of a vampire. Dashing, hunky, rich, plays the f*ckin piano and even shines like diamond in sunlight. For all I know, his blood taste like strawberries and rainbows. And when you have a vampire that shines like diamonds, its utter bullsh*t.

There is nothing special from this so-called hyped-up franchise. All the characters are bland as Hayden Christensen. Story is just oh-hum. Pacing goes from tiresome to laziness. The relationship between Eddie and Bella just so unbelievable in a vampire love fantasy. Even if I was born without a shaft, I wouldn't find this film a bit interesting. Want a better vampire romance film of 2008, watch "Let The Right One In", a far f*ckin better story.

I mean serious.. Shiny Diamond Eddie in Sunlight..... BULLSH*T!!

Mini Reviews - Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

A cleverly-written, yet still formulatic romantic comedy, dealing with a very bad break-up and moving on, brought from the same crew of Judd Apatow. Funny, awkward sweet and almost realistic. Downside - you will be seeing lots of Jason Segel's junk.....

Mini Reviews - Speed Racer

Speed Racer

Speed Racer

An enjoyable and LSD-ridden hyperactive film, based on the classic anime show, Speed Racer. It is corny as hell and still fun to watch, which is what anime is all about. The character are perfectly cast, especially Matthew Fox playing as badass Racer X. Its a trippy, bizarre and wild thing to watch.

Mini Reviews - Starting with Let the Right One in

I figured that since I'm watching alot of movies at an alarming rate, I'll be giving you mini reviews of movies I watched each day.

Starting with

Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in)

Låt den Rätte Komma In (Let the Right One in)

A truly haunting and original vampire tale that will leave you a sinking feeling inside you. A dark tale of innocence, friendship, love and horror between a young human and a young vampire. Not to be confused with Twilight and this film is definitely better than that.
